RMS Quest thoughts

serious? its like lvl to 40 all over again
100 root spiders? dont even think that many spawn in all of RMV
100 big apes arent too bad cause they're all on 5th floor
5 EA's, 40 greyEA's and 40 redEA's? havent even attempted it yet but i'll let you know

all for a weapon that will break when you die? feels like im grinding for heaven armour or something

Some maps in RMV spawn 20 Roots. u just gotta find em. Not really ment to be a fast quest imo

but some maps spawn 5 roots.. Ill increase these maps a little to help u guys out.

Grey + Red will require 1-2 respawns, so they not to bad. If u really try u can prob finish it all in about 2-3 hours.

any chances of gettin it to not break on death? lol

the room that spawns the grey EA's only spawns 10 per spawn, have no idea where to find the red 1s yet

having an uber weap like this being unbreakable is a bit daft? lol i could make it so u can take it off i think though. But then that wont be an authentic RMS!!!

oh come on thor, youre not the one having to kill all those mobs and sit at the pc for hours just to get one wep for it then to break, lol. Especially when using it for mass kills. (P.s Mc 10-3 is hardly uber. Perhaps 10-10 then youd have a leg to stand on.) ha.

Must you make everything so tiresome? lol. If you want newer players to stick around loooooosen up a bit.

You can still stick to the ethos of a long term server without making it feel like grinding teeth. lol :-)

lol the quest isnt that long when u get down to it. i think u guys forget what hunting is!! if its longer than half an hour u get bored

and that min MC really kicks ass. Like i said ill increase the root spiders + try to make it so u can take it off. Quest stays the same tough u gotta earn it somehow lol.

Lol thor surely the player count speaks for itself in regards to youre approach? Im not that bothered about the rms its more kapows thing but just bear that in mind.

If you want more players you might want to loosen up just a touch. As i said last night even some of the core players (not me tho, are getting fed up)

then u want me to just give the thing away? this quest dont take long. I always thought the point of a quest was to gain a reward at the end. this can be compleated in about 3 hours at a rough guess. Not a bad reward for that imo anyway.

tbh quests dont have much to do with the usercount lol

Argh i said i wouldnt comment further but you seem to have misunderstood me. I dont care about the rms im talking about youre approach in general (tougher) and the effect it has on newer players and their desire to keep playing thats all.

I have already invested many hours into the server so im not off anywhere im just making a point. If you are happy with a user count of 10 (assuming the other core players stick around then im happy) lol. SOmething tells me though that in the long run you wont be then you ll just close it down and all the hours ive put in will be for nothing. lol

then what would u want? everything handed out on a plate? its a low rate server meaning higher end gear isnt easy to get. u rather a server full of all the rares in a few months? and all quests finished? then people get bored?

just my opinion. Im sure if u guys had all the best equiptment already u'd of left by now out of bordom?

anyway to get new people to stay they need help by u guys. Giving them a helping hand lvling etc. Ill add the pet thing to help aswell. Me and menace can only advertise so much u guys need to help out to. If people hear about the server from u guys it means alot more than comming form me + menace lol just a tought

i think an update of the screenie section of server is needed, then post on lomcn

btw, with the server going down, will it be like a mini rewind? cause aint a chance in hell im doing that rms quest again

Hey, before you know it, you'll be someone in sz 24/7 moaning and putting off people.. the core players already left, you are officially the second comming! and now you are getting fed up? A person who had mc 40+ to get to 40, try doing it at mc 28, yeah the more i read, the more I laugh at your retort to me on lomcn..
